  8. Round 1: the New York Newsday writer mouths off about a
  9. Korean-American co-worker who objected to "sexism" in one of
  10. his columns. He describes the woman obscenely, and calls her
  11. "slant-eyed" and a "yellow cur." Asian-American journalists
  12. demand his ouster. Round 2: Breslin apologizes ("I am no good
  13. and once again I can prove it"). But he leads with the lip
  14. again, joking on a radio talk show about his outburst. Round 3:
  15. his exasperated editors sock him with a two-week suspension for
  16. "lack of sensitivity." The last thing anybody wanted last week
  17. was a rematch.
